Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Selects Approva to Support Continuous Audit Process for Statewide SAP Deployment

Approva® Corporation, the leader in enterprise controls management software, today announced that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has licensed Approva’s BizRights Platform and Enterprise Controls Suite to manage controls and audit license usage across its statewide SAP deployment.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will use the Approva solution to re-design user roles for its statewide SAP deployment that maximize the utilization of its SAP licenses. The Approva software provides the Commonwealth with the ability to determine which SAP users are actively using their licenses and to identify which transactions are used to perform each job function. By redeploying unused licenses and designing roles that reduce the overall number of licenses required, the Commonwealth can extend the return on the investment it has made in its ERP system. In addition, the Commonwealth will use the Approva solution to audit and verify segregation of duties (SoD) controls to ensure that no users possess capabilities which violate the controls that it has established.
