Approva Appoints Himanshu Singh President of India Operations
Addition to executive team marks expansion in Asia Pacific to meet growing demand for Governance, Risk & Compliance solutions

Approva® Corporation (http://www.approva.net), the leader in continuous controls monitoring and audit software, today announced that Himanshu Singh has joined the company as President of Approva’s India Operations. In this role, Singh is responsible for Approva’s product development activities as well as customer support, business development and professional services delivery across the Asia Pacific region.
As a member of Approva’s global senior executive management team, Singh will direct all aspects of the company’s product development and delivery for global customers out of India, leading a rapidly growing India-based team of more than 200 employees. Approva is unique among global technology companies for completing its entire product development cycle in India.

Singh joins Approva from Cadence Design Systems, where he served in several roles, most recently as Executive Director of Cadence’s India operations. Singh has also played key roles in driving success in India and across the Asia-Pacific region for a number of leading technology companies including Silicon Graphics, and a joint venture between HCL and Hewlett-Packard.

Singh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from the Regional Engineering College of Durgapur, West Bengal, India. He is also a graduate of the Asian International Executive Program from INSEAD in Singapore, and the General Management Program from Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI), one of the top three business schools in Jamshedpur, India.
