Approva Announces New Products Designed to Strengthen Governance Risk & Compliance Programs for SAP Customers
Approva Role Designer & certification for ECC 6.0 (mySAP ERP 2005) enable companies to independently design and validate controls across their SAP landscape

Approva® Corporation, the leader in continuous controls monitoring and audit software, today announced the debut of Approva Role Designer, a new product that enables users to perform advanced role modeling for their SAP systems. In addition, Approva announced that SAP has certified its BizRights® Continuous Controls Monitoring Platform at SAP Labs for use with SAP ECC 6.0 (mySAP ERP 2005), the most recent version of SAP’s core ERP product line.
Approva Role Designer, which is being demonstrated this week at the SAP GRC 2007 conference at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, provides advanced role simulation and analysis capabilities that enable SAP security professionals and other system users to design and optimize both new and existing roles. Role Designer provides visibility into role definitions across SAP landscapes and automates role creation tasks which would otherwise be performed using a manual “trial and error” approach. Role Designer enables companies to ensure that their security model is optimized to balance business needs against regulatory and operational risks. The product will also be showcased in a webcast to be held on March 16th at 11AM EDT.

Approva Role Designer, along with the rest of Approva’s product suite, runs on the BizRights Continuous Controls Monitoring Platform (BizRights CCM). BizRights CCM was recently certified by SAP at SAP Labs for use with SAP ECC 6.0. The two components certified by SAP Labs, BizRights Adapter Version 3.6 and the BizRights Data Extraction Engine (DEE) Version 3.6, are powered by SAP NetWeaver 2005. The certification, indicates that BizRights CCM meets all of the requirements to connect to SAP NetWeaver, which is the foundation of mySAP solutions.
